Google Fixes PageRank Flaw

Google updated its toolbar PageRank three weeks ago and SEOs and webmasters were surprised to find out that Google.com was downgraded to PR9. Google pushed out an update to fix the problem and it is back to PR10.
Googles drop was not as surprising as Twitters PR. It went from PR9 down to PR0. People would suspect that Google manually downgraded Twitters PageRank in time of the end of their contract with regards to the real-time Twitter stream in Googles search results.
The search giant said that Twitter made changes to its robots.txt file and HTTP status codes, which resulted to unusual URL canonicalization for the site by Googles algorithms. The recent patch resolved the issue and the PageRank data is back to normal for Twitter.
The recent update is a usual one from Google so that it could update the values of sites a few weeks after releasing a toolbar update. People should not look deeper into it because it is just a case of fixing bugs found after the release.
There are people who are complaining about several inaccuracies found with the PR of sites even after the update. Some people are complaining that their sites PR dropped while others enjoyed an increase.
