Google+ iPhone app is now available for free download from the Apple App Store. The iOS version of the Google+ app looks the same as the Android version. Users can now experience the new social network on their iPhone.
The iPhone app is not different with the Android app. It has the main features, such as the Stream, Circles, and Huddles. What�s missing from both the Android and iOS Google+ apps is the Hangouts group video chat. Users can upload photos directly from the app. They can choose to use the photos already on the iOS device or take a photo using the phone�s camera.
The Google+ app for the iOS was available in the App Store through iTunes starting Tuesday. Google+ head Vic Gondotra said that the app would be available from iOS devices in a couple of hours. The app is compatible with iPhones and iPod Touch units that are running on iOS 4 and above. That means it would not be available for iPhone 1 users. It is also not available for iPad users as well.
Early users of the Goolge+ app for iOS have reported bugs with it. But Google is said to be on top of the situation and is working to sort things out as soon as possible.
