Gadget News - Tag Heuer Mikrotimer Flying 1000 Concept Watch

Tag Heuer has recently unveiled a new concept watch that may just be another first in the world. Its new Tag Heuer Mikrotimer Flying 1000 watch concept may just be the very first mechanical watch in the world to measure and display 1/1000ths of a second. That is some incredible feat of watch design and engineering.
The Tag Heuer Chronograph concept features an additional yellow-colored hand on its watch face display to measure time in microseconds. It may be colored that way not just to make it distinguishable from the other hands of the watch but also to somehow determine its rapid rotations with the eye, if that is possible. For the watch to measure 1/1000th of a second, its internal gears need to run at 500 rotations per second. You can see this watch in actual action in Vimeo to see just how fast it turns. The Tag Heuer Mikrotimer Flying 1000 still remains a watch concept. But with Tag Heuer being able to make such a watch just shows how it is trying to further develop its own technology.
