The new Iomega Mac Companion Hard Drive will come in 2TB and 3TB storage capacities. It uses a 7200 RPM 3.5 inch drive that is also formatted for use with Mac computers right out of the box. It comes with a high powered 2.1 amp USB charging port for the iPad, iPhone and the iPod. This unique drive also comes with two FireWire 800 ports, one USB 2.0 port as well as a two port integrated USB 2.0 hub that allows users to connect multiple external devices into the hard drive. The new Iomega Mac Companion Hard Drive is currently available exclusively at Apple Stores for a suggested retail price of US$195 for the 2TB model and US$295 for the 3TB version.
