Facebook has been plagued by privacy issues since its beginning. Last year the company was bombarded with complaints from users for making their user data available to the public. Facebook answered by simplifying the process of keeping personal info private from third party companies.
Circles are said to be better than groups. In Facebook, it would be difficult to share content to a select group of people. In most cases, everyone can see the content. With Google+ Circles, users can determine what content will be shared to a certain group.
Google+ frees users data. It lets them download all their data to their computers or transfer them to another service. A user that shares information on the network owns the content and can do anything he pleases with it.
Facebooks new video chat is lame compared to Google+s Hangouts feature, which allows users to have a video chat with up to 10 people at the same time. The service is free. Friends could drop by and chat in the Hangout session.
