Huawei MediaPad announced � Android 3.X and a dual-core processor

Huawei has just issued the press release regarding its MediaPad , the Chinese company's big new attempt at a mass-market Android tablet. The exciting news is it's running the �Honeycomb� tablet version of Android, with Huawei claiming the MediaPad will arrive running �Android 3.2?. Which could happen.

The MediaPad is powered by a dual-core Qualcomm processor, supports Flash Player and has dual cameras, with a 5megapixel one around the back. Given Huawei's excellent track record in delivering the goods for a nice price, this might just be the monster tablet smash Android needs.

Huawei says the MediaPad will be launching is �select markets� from Q3 of this year. We're excited about it. Here's the press release:
