Formerly it called Dopod, now so called HTC. But whatever its name, their product always successfully draws attention because of its more complete ability. This thing also can be seen in the newest PDAphone, TyTN II. This product equipped by all facilities which PDAphone need, starts from HSDPA network support, GPS, BlackBerry, 3MP camera until integrated keyboard.

HTC TYTN II user can use integrated keyboard – beside the touchscreen- for the input. Stylus is hidden in under side phone, dorsal cleft right side. Qwerty Keyboard will seen if we slide the under side to the right. When shifting this key pad, we can make it have a voice with choose Sliding sound in keyboard Sliding Sound. Unfortunately, we have not found way to adding other sound file for this setting.

Which looks different is the existence of axis so that position of screen part can bended curved to part of keyboard; alike when we apply Dopod U1000. This gadget also applied TouchFlo which is first added in HTC Touch. So we can activate an application with touching an icon.

There are many special shortcut button offered. In device side, there is Voice Commander Button; side by side with menu select wheel and OK button. Below the screen, there is a special button for windows, browser, and message. All the shortcut actually can be changed from start > Settings > Buttons.

SIM card slot is placed at back of front side (screen). Even it’s so easy, not suggested to changes SIM card when device is ON. Meanwhile, in front side is located MicroSD slot. With that easiness, it’s unnecessary to unload casing to pair SIM card and addition memory card. This phone has two cameras. The 3 megapixel camera located at device backside; but no additional lamp and mirror. There’s only available addition speaker. Above it, there is a GPS port; if need to plug in addition accessory to strengthen the GPS signal. At limited promotion, HTC figures in MapKing for its mapping and QuickGPS to update GPS data.

The camera button in right corner under maybe not comfortable when we make a picture on portrait position; but not problem on landscape position.

Windows Mobile 6 operating system which more reliable and save more power promises better device performance. Even has not supported 3G, existence of Bluetooth and WiFi is enough fulfilling your connectivity requirement.

We can say as the existing smallest PDA phone, HTC TOUCH is ready to be conceived of iPhone competitor. The operating system which already use Windows Mobile 6 has becomes other fascination.

Using Dopod D818Pro frame, it is not strange if the appearance of Dopod D818c same as the brother which based on GSM network. The only way to differentiate it is when you tum on the. If D818Pro casing is available in 5 color choice, Dopod D818c only have one color. Dopod figures Intemet Sharing for intemet connectivity. Even not supported EVDO technology, video streaming in this PDA phone can be said not bad. But unfortunately, we can't find video call facility.

Bluetooth 2.0 support with A2DP and AVRCP enables us to exploit Bluetooth accessory, the example, headset or speaker, to listen music. Plus the Audio Manager to arrange outputs sound. But, sad to say, the sound produce by speaker is still standard. Better if you applies headset. For microphone is provided AGC Microphone setting.

In software equipment, JBLEND is available to organize Java application installation in the device. Dopod also adds Adobe Reader LE to read PDF file, Voice Speed Dial which uses voice to command the application, and Zip for file compression.
