A few days ago on Nokias official Facebook page, people were wondering what surprise the Finnish phone manufacturer had for its Symbian platform. We expected Symbian Belle rolling out, but we didnt expect a new smartphone to feature the new Symbian iteration. The Symbian Belle-powered Nokia 700 was officially announced.

Te phone is a mere 9.7 mm thick, comes with 2 GB of built-in memory, a 5 MP camera, LED flash, HD video recording, a 3.2 inch AMOLED display, and a 1 GHz single-core processor.
The 700s will be priced at around 240. It will be available in an assortment of colors such as purple, burgundy, blue, black, and silver.
What does Belle have to offer? It will come with 6 home screens, which you can customize according to your own preferences. It supports NFC, which will allows you to enjoy communicating with other NFC-enabled devices, contactless payments, swap files, pair devices, and play games.
Symbian Belle will be rolling out to past Nokia handsets such as the 500, X7, E6, C7, E7, and N8 by winter of this year.
It looks like every phone manufacturer is launching a new handset as we speak. Samsung, Motorola, and Blackberry have all announced new smartphones. Hopefully, we get to see Nokias Windows Phone Mango handsets in the near future. Itll be a shame if HTC beats them to the punch with their windows-based smartphones.
When Nokia announced they would be supporting Windows Phone 7 we all thought they'd stop making Symbian smartphones. However, they've now announced three new smartphones running on the newest version Symbian Belle.   The 3 new mobiles are the Nokia 700, Nokia 701 and the Nokia 600 and they are all distinct smartphones. Symbian Belle brings a new user-interface , improved browsing and support for NFC to all three of the mobiles. The Nokia 700 (pictured above) is the smallest smartphone that Nokia have ever-built and is the most compact monoblock smartphone in the world. It comes in with dimensions of 110*50.7*9.7mm , but that doesn't stop it having a powerful feature-set. Infact, the Nokia 700 has a 3.2 inch AMOLED touch-screen, 1GHz processor, 2GB of on-board memory and a 5 mega-pixel camera with LED flash. The smartphone is also an ECO mobile making it perfect for those looking to reduce their carbon footprint.

The second smartphone is the Nokia 701 and is another sleek mobile that has the world's brightest mobile screen. Infact, it seems to be the perfect mobile for outdoor use because as well as a 3.5 inch ClearBack display it also has active noise cancellation.
The Nokia 701 adopts a similar design to the Nokia C7 and is powered by a 1GHz processor, 8GB of onboard memory and an 8 mega-pixel camera with dual-LED flash.

The final new smartphone announced is the Nokia 600 which is a music smartphone. Infact, the Nokia 600 is Nokia's loudest smartphone of all time with the speakers outputting at 106 phons. It also has an FM radio and amazingly an FM transmitter which is a good way to share your music at a party.
The battery life supports up to 60 hours music playback and you will be able to stream music using NFC. The Nokia 600 has a 1 GHz processor, 2GB of onboard memory and a 5 mega-pixel camera with LED Flash.
