HP Announces Fire Sale, Get HP TouchPad for $99

Just as HP announced they will no longer produce any of its webOS tablets and smartphones, they have decided to liquidate its remaining stock. HP has slashed the price of its 16GB TouchPad to a mere $99, while the 32GB version is being sold for $149.
So far, the discounted TouchPads are being offered in Canada and Australia, which was completely sold out as soon as the news spread. This has made the HP TouchPad one of the most short-lived and heavily-discounted gadgets in history. It would not take too long before the US, UK, EU, and other markets begin to line up in stores to get their own cheap tablet. However, do not expect all stores to sell the TouchPad at that low of a price, especially with all that has happened lately.
But is it worth to buy a TouchPad, even when discounted? Sure, you may no longer receive updates or technical support, but you still get a cheap tablet. Plus, there have been claims that some wise guys have been able to replace webOS into Android Honeycomb and it still works.
