There�s news recently about this new Sonos Play:3 All-In-One Wireless Speaker System being leaked through an Amazon product posting before its actual date of release. While the product posting was immediately taken out, it probably would not have been needed since this new speaker system has been officially announced by Sonos. But then, it might have given this new gadget some added publicity that might just help it garner some much needed attention.
The Sonos Play:3 offers wireless streaming capabilities to a speaker system that can allow a number of smart media devices to stream content and play it on this wireless speaker. Users can add different media players into the speaker to allow them to stream audio through it. Its HiFi sound output is provided by a 3-driver speaker system along with 3 on board digital amps. The speaker system is composed of a tweeter and a pair if mid-range drivers along with a passive bass radiator.
The Sonos Play:3 All-In-One Wireless Speaker System supports both Android, Apple iDevices like the iPhone and the iPad to control its streaming audio, aside from the Sonos Control module. As it is connected wirelessly through the Internet on a WiFi network, the Sonos Play:3 is also able to let users play music through the free online music stations from all over the world. The Sonos Play:3 All-In-One Wireless Speaker is available now at Sonos for US$299.
