Ah, yes. It's a good old input device. How can we live without it? This shiny thing has been gathering dust on our tables for decades. But, as technologies progress, so do our plastic pets. Today manufacturers produce many kinds of mice: gaming, designers' or 3D mice for example. But there also is a mid-range category, for ordinary users. So, let's have a look at Microsoft’s new product: the MicrosoftExplorer Touch Mouse. It has a black-style glossy look, nothing special but pretty classy. The housing repeats the grip of your hand, to make it more comfortable in use. The mouse is wireless and it features BlueTrack Technology, so the problem of finding the proper surface for your mouse no longer exists.

It's a handy innovation for laptop owners too. The next feature is a haptic scroll strip, which allows you to scroll both vertically and horizontally. And that’s not all; the device has five customizable buttons. So, if you are in need of all-surface mouse with haptic scroll bar, this is your best choice. As Microsoft states, the battery charge is enough for 18 months of work. That's pretty good for a wireless device.

The announced price of the mouse is $ 49.95 and it will hit the shelves in September 2011, and will be available in four colors: Coal Black, Storm Gray, Sangria Red and Rust Red.
