Mobile phone users just cant seem to avoid making or taking calls even while they drive. But since it may be dangerous to do so when the driver handles the steering wheel and the mobile phone at the same time, not to mention being illegal in some states, a more convenient method is required. Using a handsfree speakerphone like the new Jabra Drive would be a more convenient solution.
The Jabra Drive Speakerphone allows drivers to safely handle calls on the road while keeping both hands on the steering wheel. It connects with a Bluetooth enabled phone and is relatively easy to use. When your mobile phone rings, you just press the large button of the in-car speakerphone and you can talk away while driving.
The Jabra Drive can also transmit music, podcasts as well as GPS directions coming from a Bluetooth enabled device. It can also be connected to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously, making it even a cinch to use without having to disconnect from your mobile phone. It is good for up to 20 hours of talk time and 30 days standby time. The Jabra Drive Bluetooth Speakerphone is expected to be available anytime this month and will retail for around US$60.
