AMD always offering a cheap and affordable processor in the market compare to Intel i-series. AMD Phenom II X4 980 win the crown as the highest GHz a processor can offer so far with 3.7GHz and it's overclockable. The unlocked multiplier should make it trivial for overclockers to push this beast to 4GHz. This is great news for AMD fan. For those who want to upgrade their AM3 rig, this is definitely a worth spending your money. But, still Intel i5 and i7 out performed AMD. Read for the review here by anandtech.
